Astro Vinyl lava lamp
This range of classic 1963 Astro lava lamps is inspired by vinyl records, the music medium of the 1960s still loved and collected today. Skilled British craftsmen spin the metal, expertly etch grooves into it and finally give it a shiny black anodised finish to achieve the vinyl-like effect. It has a unique box design, and its woven sawtooth black and white lead is often found on music equipment.
