Our Sustainable Materials and Process:
The Guanaco is from Penryn, Cornwall and the Blue-Faced Leicester wool from Honiton, Devon. This unique blend of Guanaco (with guard hairs/without being de-haired) and BFL yarn was created originally as a research and development project and is now being reused/repurposed.
This beautiful pure wool set was knitted on a hand-powered, knitting machine and hand-finished using no electricity in our mill, overlooking the factory where we produced the yarns, all created with an impressively low carbon footprint. Our tags are made from 100% wood and produced from waste from a local timber manufacturer and sewn on by hand with some of our merino yarn and stamped with a non-toxic and acid-free ink. Our swing tags are produced by a local printer and small business.
