COMPOSITION
The welded metal frame holds a metal door tray lined with tile backing board. The door is hinged via fully adjustable concealed hinges and opens out towards the user. It is held closed by either a push catch or security lock.
The door is removable if damage occurs or during installation.
Doors are manufactured to exact tile module, either as fully concealed so that after installation only the open grout line is visible (TF), or alternatively manufactured for retrofitting where the metal edges of the frame will be visible (EEF).
A constant grout width gap is maintained between the door and frame by the fully adjustable hinge system.
Doors are supplied powder coated semi-gloss white or unpainted if decorative stainless steel is specified.
All doors are single door and side hung. Doors can be top hung and/or lift out if size permits.

FRAME
1.5mm thick, factory welded electro-galvanised mild steel with concealed frame flange.
For sizes >600mm x 1200mm, or tile-plus-adhesive depth >13mm, heavy duty butt hinges are applied.
Manufactured to suit specific tile module size with rubber compression gasket and moisture guard to all sides.
Powder coat finish matt RAL 9010M as standard.
DOOR
1.5mm thick, electro-galvanised mild steel door tray
Lined with marine ply to accept tile adhesive
Powder coat finish to matt RAL 9010M as standard.
LOCKS
Available with;
Concealed push catch (PC)
Security key lock (SL)
For door heights >1200mm, please specify three-point lock (3PL)
FIRE RATING
The VISION 8000 SERIES FIRE RATED riser door is fire rated for up to 1hr (8000-1FR) or 2hrs (8000-2FR) - tested to BS470 Part 22.
It is designed to not impair the resistance of the rated wall it is installed to.
