John Lawrie Tubulars

John Lawrie Tubulars are the UK’s leading specialists in the supply of new and repurposed steel tubulars. With a keen focus on the circular economy, we purchase surplus steel tubulars from the oil and gas industry and repurpose them as a high-quality alternative to new manufactured prime steel products in the construction piling industry. The 15-acre facility based in the Northeast of Scotland has undergone significant investment to ensure John Lawrie Tubulars become a ‘one-stop-shop’ for our construction and structural piling industry clients. In addition to this we are also perfectly positioned to service the geotechnical and rail industries too.

Our built-for-purpose UK based manufacturing facility includes a machine shop built to house seven semi-automatic CNC machines and a high-powered friction welder as well as a new purpose built second inspection shed. The company’s pipe cleaning and fully automated saw cutting facilities allow John Lawrie Tubulars to cut steel piling pipes up to one meter in diameter in a variety of lengths. John Lawrie Tubulars manage a vast and extensive inventory of tubulars for structural and construction uses, holding a stock of over 20,000 tonnes at any given time, this reduces the chance of delay and means the company can supply at short notice.

Our full-service facility at Forties Road in Montrose, Angus, is situated close to the town's port making it an ideal location for international trade and distribution throughout the UK, Europe and beyond.
