Helical Piles, Screw Anchors or Helical Anchors
Helical piles, sometimes referred to as screw piles, screw anchors or helical anchors, are a steel screw-in piling and ground anchoring system used for various foundations. Helical piles are constructed using steel shafts with helical flights (helix/helices) of various sizes to suit the site specific ground conditions.
