Apollo Scaffold Services were recently commissioned by event staging company Staged to produce a range of modular temporary outdoor structures with a frontage of up to 20.7m. One of these was used for the recent Bassfest Summer Festival in Sheffield as live music returned to the UK.
The initial concept supplied by Staged required compatibility with the company’s existing decking systems. As well as undertaking manufacture, Apollo Scaffold Services were commissioned to consult on the design and productionise the structures.
Due to the disruption caused by the pandemic, events were only confirmed at short notice.
The led to the implementation of additional shifts to ensure the parts were ready for Staged on time.
