Bear Cricket Ltd has been granted membership to the Made in Britain organisation

BEAR Cricket Ltd is an independent cricket equipment company based in West Yorkshire.  The company was set-up in 2016 to provide hand crafted English willow cricket bats, grown and manufactured in the UK by master bat makers, using willow from private forests as an alternative option to the mass-manufactured cricket bats at affordable prices. Bear Cricket Ltd has now been granted membership to the Made in Britain organisation.

Bear Cricket Ltd told Made in Britain that its products are produced and manufactured locally and it only uses the highest quality English willow meaning its bats are made using the same specification of willow as those of the professional cricket players.  The company says its products are tested by high level coaches meaning they fulfil the requirements for top level performance and are fit for purpose. The year 2020 saw Bear Cricket Ltd open its first shop outlet in West Yorkshire with sublimated teamwear manufactured from scratch in West Yorkshire becoming a major product in its range. Bear Cricket Ltd says it prides itself on its levels of customer service and going above and beyond both pre and post sales to ensure that its products meet and exceed expectations and that its customers get the correct equipment to help further their game.

Adam Brown, owner of Bear Cricket Ltd, told Made in Britain, “It is an honour to be recognised by Made in Britain and to join this fast-growing community of like-minded manufacturers. Being able to apply the official mark to our products highlights to customers and other businesses the quality of our products as well as the care given to the process of manufacturing them. It also demonstrates that we meet the strict criteria of being a British manufacturer who is a member of Made in Britain.”

Bear Cricket Ltd will be using the official Made in Britain mark on its website and its social media posts. The official Made in Britain mark will also be used on each of the products it makes here in Britain and it will add the reflective Made in Britain sticker to its bats.
