A very proud day today for Beaver Bridges as our bridge at Lossiemouth was officially opened to the public by cabinet secretary for rural affairs and islands Mairi Gougeon. The community has finally been reconnected with the golden sands after the old bridge closed due to safety concerns in 2019.
Hundreds gathered on the esplanade as representatives from Lossiemouth Community Development Trust (LCDT), Moray Council and the Scottish Government took their first steps across the bridge.
This has been a very special project to Beaver Bridges due to our local links to the area and we would like to thank the folk of Lossie for their continued enthusiasm and support on the build.
