Cathedral Products joins Made in Britain

Manufacturing steel file boxes and tool boxes from facilities in Burntwood, Staffordshire: Cathedral Products joins Made in Britain.

Cathedral Products was established in 1997 with just one product - the Home Office File Box. The product is still manufactured in their West Midlands factory. Since its beginnings, Cathedral Products has assembled a constantly growing range of products and now covers in excess of 40 product categories. Dedicated to providing quality at extremely competitive prices, Cathedral sources and develops products which appeal to users in the office, at home or in education, where innovation and reliability are balanced by cost efficiency. The Company exports a significant number of their file boxes and tool boxes to Ireland, Romania, and even Jamaica. The Company also say that they are the only producer of metal file boxes remaining in the UK.

Sophie James, E-commerce Manager, said “I am incredibly passionate about British manufacturing, it is hugely beneficial to the British economy, and especially important to keep Britain working while situations like Covid and Brexit affect the imports industry. This isn’t my first experience with Made in Britain as an organisation, I was eager to get involved after leaving another Made in Britain certified business, and seeing how beneficial it was to them.”

Cathedral Products will use the Made in Britain mark on their new website, on the packaging of their file boxes and tool boxes, and a long term plan is to include a small badge affixed to the file boxes and tool boxes.
