Today marks Steon’s 50th anniversary trading within the lighting industry!
Founded on 26th May 1971 the company was incorporated under the name ‘JJ Lighting Supplies Ltd’ and since then has evolved to become one of the leaders within the lighting industry.
Following our initial 17 years of trading the company decided to strategically focus on lighting only. Consequently, we re-branded to ‘Lamps & Lighting Ltd.’
This was the first of two comprehensive rebrands, after 29 years trading under ‘Lamps & Lighting Ltd’ we felt the markets increasing adoption of LED technologies had rendered the name less relevant. Resultantly, in 2017 the decision was made to embrace our manufacturing brand as our company name; we have been trading as ‘Steon Ltd’ ever since.
At Steon we are proud of our heritage and everything we have achieved over the last 50 years. We would like to thank all our clients for their continued support and we look forward to continuing our relationship with you over upcoming years.
