Celebrating sustainability across the corporate landscape

By Dr. Cristiana Pace, Judge for the Impact Awards 2023.

As the founder and CEO of a specialist strategic consultancy that exists to drive the sustainability movement forward in sports, I have seen first-hand the positive impact businesses have the power to create when they put sustainability best practices at the heart of their strategy and operations.

Whether it be via the millions of fans observing and learning from the environmental and social behaviour of their favourite teams, or the great technological advancements created by organisations like F1 that have filtered through into the innovations we rely on in our day-to-day lives, great things can happen when organisations think creatively about sustainability.

Finding opportunities to include sustainability as a priority from inception to completion is fundamental to decarbonising common business practices and can even identify opportunities for net positive impact.

It is for this reason that I feel privileged to be a judge for the Made in Britain Impact Awards. By creating the Impact Awards, it shines a light on the work going on by members, we can amplify the inspirational progress of organisations across every sector, and accomplishments and their work towards a low carbon future.
