A care home group has acted quickly to improve hygiene standards during the pandemic by installing new changing facilities featuring inbuilt Biomaster antimicrobial protection. Beechcroft Care Homes in Cary Park, Torquay, has built and installed brand new staff changing facilities at all its sites. The lockers were made and installed by Crown Sports Lockers, designers and manufacturers of premium quality bespoke changing rooms. The ‘Made in Britain’ company based in Devon provided a range of lockers fabricated from 18mm EcoPlastic recycled white PVC board manufactured by Sealwise. The board is homogeneous, featuring a closed cell PVC foam core and solid PVC surface. It is non-toxic, non-porous and formaldehyde-free. The PVC board is also treated with Biomaster technology, independently tested to ISO standards and proven to inhibit the growth of most types of common bacteria, making it ideal for hygiene-sensitive settings including care homes staffrooms and lockers. The integrated Biomaster product protection never wears off, assuring continued antimicrobial protection for the lifetime of the unit.
