THE Made in Britain organisation has appointed Curtis Bligh as marketing officer. Curtis will carry out his new role alongside his duties at Made in Britain member Excell Metal Spinning Ltd, where he has been working in marketing for the last seven years.
His work at Made in Britain will see him raise the profile of the organisation across social media platforms and provide valuable social media marketing support to members. Curtis is a passionate advocate of British manufacturing and he told Made in Britain, “No matter what differentiates each member business, whether they are producing metal spinnings like Excell, or coffee machines like Fracino, what unites them is quality. If you want exceptional quality, the UK is the place to find it.”
Made in Britain chief executive officer John Pearce said, “Curtis came to our notice on social media, where he has a very energetic and positive style. Other members had noticed enthusiasm too, and after enjoying his social media output for Excell Metal Spinning, I thought to myself, ‘We could do with a bit of that.’”
As well as his responsibilities at Excell and Made in Britain, Curtis is studying for a marketing degree at the University of Portsmouth. Busy lad. Contact Curtis Bligh direct for marketing matters using the email: marketing@madeinbritain.org
