NOTTINGHAMSHIRE-based Desman Engineering is a sub-contract precision CNC workshop using large multi-tasking machinery to make all kinds of precise components, in all kinds of materials. It has recently achieved membership of Made in Britain.
Mark Freeman, assistant production manager at Desman Engineering, told Made in Britain, “We’re competing with factories in China, which we struggle to match on price but easily compete with on quality and we think we beat them on customer service. We are dedicated to providing our customers with products which conform in all respects to their expectations and a service which meets the requirements of AS9100C and EN IS09001:2008. The company is committed to compliance with requirements and appropriate legislation. This is supported by our state-of-the-art inspection facility to ensure quality is implemented throughout the shop.
“We'll be promoting the Made in Britain brand on our emails, on the wall in the office and maybe having something on one of our exhibition stands.”
