EUROPEAN Springs & Pressings has opened a second factory in Cornwall and invested almost £900,000 in a new spring coiling machine, the first of its kind in the UK and one of only two in the world.
The new machine enhances the Made in Britain member’s spring portfolio, which now includes CNC coiling of wire diameters from 0.03mm to 17mm, and secures the company’s position as market-leaders. The two factories allow the company to divide its automotive and industrial specialisms across two locations.
