The Cycling Industry in the UK is still in recovery but we are looking for better ways of selling Exposure Lights and USE into the bike shops, with more sales visits to inform and educate the staff of all the advantages of our products, such as all the technologies in Exposure Lights and the great reaction USE has had to the Suspension Stem and Seat Post.
On the back of the success in America, USE is also targeting specific countries with cycling heritage to directly sell to the Bike stores. South Africa is the latest to be directly engaged with, previously USE would have relied on a distributor to do this but often they are distracted by the other brands they represent. USE can focus on USE.
With the rise of Gravel Bikes in the market (which inspired the new VYBE stem) USE and Exposure lights has supported the Battle on the Beach and the Pan Celtic Gravel Rally to push these products hard.
Battle on the Beach, working around the tide times to make sure it is dry, is a night and day time trial event incorporating an extremely fast beach section and technical wooded trails. Riders attend from the UK, America and Europe, especially the Dutch beach racers. A huge turn out with over 1000 riders in total and 350 for the night stage. The lights and USE products were very well received.
Pan Celtic Gravel Rally, in North Wales in the foothills of the Snowdonia National Park, a night and Day race comprising of multiple stages over a very large, gnarly gravel and woodland trails, a mix of pure gravel riders and fast cross country bikes taking part and more than half raced the night stage.
The weather held off this year, which meant the going was fast.
