First liquid nitrogen generator installed at Australian IVF clinic

A fertility clinic in Melbourne Australia has purchased and recently installed an LN65 liquid nitrogen generator from Noblegen UK. The head scientist had previously worked in the UK and had knowledge of our on-site liquid nitrogen generators so decided to purchase one for their new laboratory.  The generator is on the 3rd floor of a lab area with the LN65 condenser unit outside on a balcony. The generator can see +40c degrees of ambient temperature and is working well. As you can see from the photos they have a storage room where they keep their eggs with each dewar sitting on a scale connected into an alarm. When the scale indicates lower than the set minimum weight allowed, they alarm and are topped up with liquid nitrogen from the LN65AC. As this unit is on the 3rd floor it is saving them a lot of effort going up and down the lift with a dewar as well as their basement carpark height being extremely low means you can not get a delivery truck in there at all. The customer was a fan of the Queen and left his own little touch on the generator of a picture of the Queen as she looks over her soldiers.

This is another example of how on-site liquid nitrogen production can help companies all around the world, with +500 systems running world-side from 10-1,000 litres per day replacing conventional LN2 deliveries. Taking control of your own Liquid Nitrogen gives an increased security of supply, lower long term costs and can be a more environmentally positive way of bringing LN2 to your facility.
