Granada Material Handling join the Made in Britain Campaign

Celebrating over 35 years at the forefront of material handling solutions for UK industry, Granada Material Handling are leaders in the design and supply of innovative, bespoke, industrial lifting equipment for both offshore and onshore industries.  With a head office, design, manufacturing and service facility in Rochdale, as well as facilities in the West Midlands, North Wales, the Wirral and Mostyn Dock, GMH are proud to be the latest members of the Made in Britain Campaign.

With experience across a whole range of sectors, Granada have particular expertise in the automotive, construction, aerospace and renewables sectors.  Their automotive clients include some of the most iconic car marques – Bentley Motors, BMW and Jaguar Land Rover – as well as Made in Britain campaign member Vauxhall.  Granada are the UK’s leading bespoke handling system supplier to the aerospace industry and, at their Broughton site, their client Airbus is responsible for assembling the wings for all the company’s commercial aircraft, employing over 6,000 people and producing over 1,000 wings a year.  

Offshore, Granada have designed and installed more than 600 marine davit cranes to date and, with the UK as global leader in offshore wind farm development, Granada are leading the way in helping the sector to meet its targets for UK content.  Granada’s offshore specialist solutions range from supply boats to the wind turbine platform and on-turbine handling, and all Granada’s cranes are built in the UK.
