'Green EPDM' Rubber for a More Sustainable Future

As a UK based manufacturer, DLR Elastomer Engineering acknowledges that we have a responsibility to continually improve our products and processes to reduce the environmental impact today and for future generations.

As part of this continual drive for a greener future, we have developed our 'Green EPDM'.

Unlike traditional EPDM rubbers that contain raw materials that are primarily derived from crude oil, 'Green EPDM' is manufactured from over 95% sustainable raw materials.

That's 95% of the raw materials from sustainable, farmed, plant-based crops!

Our 'Green EPDM' is as versatile as the traditional crude oil-based alternatives  and so can be used on a  wide variety of applications including rubber moulded parts such as seals & gaskets and and also rubber sheet products such as roofing,  pond liners and architectural membranes.

Whilst we are still some way away from being completely free of fossil fuels in the manufacture of rubber products, 'Green EPDM' is certainly a great option to help start the transition.
