FAMILY-owned HMG Paints Ltd was established in 1930 and, with over 90 years’ experience in developing innovative and compliant paints and powder coatings, now supplies its products to a range of sectors including industrial, automotive, commercial vehicle, defence, aerospace, marine and rail. HMG Paints Ltd has now attained accreditation to the Made in Britain organisation
HMG Paints Ltd told Made in Britain it uses its broad spectrum of knowledge and expertise to create the very best individual service and tailored solutions for its customers. Innovation runs deep within HMG Paints Ltd and the company says it was the first in the UK to utilise Graphene within its coatings. Product innovation continues with the company producing its own systems of colourants and colour matching software which means it can provide virtually unlimited colour choice for the products it manufactures.
The company says it is also extremely agile and a key example of this was its ability to transform a clean-room department into a hand sanitiser production line within 48 hours and supply the First Thing Sanitiser to critical industries such as pharmaceutical packaging, health, transport, utilities and defence along with donations made to Greater Manchester Police, local care homes and other frontline workers.
John Falder, managing director of HMG Paints Ltd, told Made in Britain, “The Made in Britain collective mark unites the British manufacturing sector and helps consumers, buyers and specifiers identify products that are made in Britain. As a proud family business and British Manufacturer, HMG is one of the last few remaining British paint manufacturers and it will be looking to work alongside other Made in Britain members.
“We’re proud to be a paint manufacturer in Britain and with more and more paint manufacturers offshoring production and decision making we feel HMG can provide a unique offering to UK Manufacturers. We have an extensive history of working closely with our customers to develop long term sustainable partnerships. HMG offer a huge variety of products, all of which are manufactured in Britain, but we are also specialists in developing innovative bespoke paint and coatings solutions for customers.”
HMG Paints Ltd will be using the official Made in Britain mark across its packaging and products as well as in its marketing materials and digital channels. Find out more about the company at its members’ directory profile page here and its website here.
