A leading UK plastic fabricator - and MadeinBritain member - has launched a 'sneeze screen' style polling booth aimed to boost voter confidence.
West Bromwich-based Wrights Plastics manufactures the booths from 8mm white foamex acrylic - the white offer voter privacy while the acrylic offers a barrier against the coronavirus. In addition the screens are easy to clean and sanitise.
The company, who recently celebrated their 50th anniversary, also aim to make life easier for the teams invigilating at the polling stations. The product comes flat packed, is easy to assemble and offers four 'booths' to maximise voter flow throughout the day. The booth can be positioned as required, and no specialist installation or cleaning is required.
