Applelec have been busy eco engineering another signage staple to add to our growing eco signage range. Our new Applelec Eco Lightbox has been designed for disassembly and ease of recycling at end of life and is our most sustainable product to date.
Recycled bottle backlit skin
Printed with water-based, non-toxic, inks, its recyclable, interchangeable, skin is made from 100% recycled PET plastic bottle waste (2 bottles per square metre), whilst still maintaining print quality and vibrancy.
Wood-pulp backing
Replacing the standard rigid plastic backing we have selected a lightweight, rigid, fibre based, wood pulp backing that is made from locally sourced PEFC wood that is 100% recyclable and withstands store conditions such as temperature and humidity.
Recycled and recyclable frame
Coupled with its 32mm slimline profile, which is 100% recyclable, this is our lightest lightbox to date at just 4.2kg per square meter, over half the weight of our standard lightbox.
Bright, highly energy efficient LEDs
Bright illumination is achieved through the highly energy efficiency, high output SloanLED BrightLINE 2 LP which provides improved longevity, output, efficiency and brightness and comes with a 5-year parts and labour warranty.
