Investment increases our in-house forming capabilities

Since coming under new ownership, Nautic Engineering Ltd has adopted a policy of continuous improvement through investment in our manufacturing plant and equipment. This policy marked another milestone in February with the installation of our new Bystronic PR 100 2m x 100ton CNC press brake, which replaces our stalwart but ageing manual Beyeler press brake.

This new 8-Axis CNC Bystronic press brake again increases our in-house forming capabilities during component fabrication. It is less labour intensive, enjoys easier set-ups and improved production time over our previous press brake. This therefore helps keep fabricated component costs competitive for our clients.

Capable of bending a two meter long stainless steel sheet up to 5mm thick, our new Bystronic PR 100 press brake boasts incredible bending precision and high accuracy repeat positioning. Our new press brake also strengthens our commitment to safety in that it is fully guarded and compliant with current H&S laws.

If you would like to discover more about our enhanced forming capabilities at Nautic Engineering Ltd, or discuss any specific future fabrication projects you think we might be able to assist you with, please get in touch.
