Made-in Britain member Mar-Key Group has delivered one of its biggest retail projects to date, successfully supplying over 11,000sqm of additional covered storage for our client.
The temporary structures are required to create additional storage space and enable the client to deal with seasonal demand and increased festive deliveries. We installed over 90 structures across 85 stores nationwide, from Bournemouth to Bradford! Our temporary storage solutions expanded our client’s capacity significantly, easing pressure on internal warehouse space during their operational peak.
Three quarters of the structures were configured with hard single skin steel walling, MOE doors and bespoke sliding doors for easy pallet truck access. The remainder were provided with PVC roofs and walls as wet weather cover only.
The roll out across the UK saw multiple teams deliver units in tandem, so that the stores were up and running as quickly as possible. Structures are built in both back of house and car park locations, depending on the store’s exact needs.
