Marmax Recycled Products has been recognised as one of the country’s most caring companies.
The Made in Britain member, based in Stanley, County Durham, has won an International Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Excellence Award.
Marmax donates five per cent of its sales of dog agility equipment back to the Dogs Trust and five per cent of its sales of the “Buddy Bench” is donated back to the NSPCC. The Marmax Buddy Bench is designed to promote friendship. It is not only large national charities that benefit from Marmax Products, community projects also receive prizes and product donations from the business, which is also driving the message home to schools and businesses about the importance of recycling and the benefits to our environment.
The company was up against more than 100 other nominations in the International CSR Excellence Awards 2018, and it will be presented with its trophy and certificate at a glittering presentation ceremony in London this July (2018).
Marmax Products Ltd produces high quality, maintenance free outdoor products from recycled plastic milk containers and over the last seven years Marmax Products Ltd have saved more than 290 million plastic milk cartons from going to landfill.
