His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific, Martin Kent (pictured, left), has shared the below message with Made in Britain members. The Asia Pacific region featured highly in Made in Britain’s 2023 exports survey.
The message was prepared following Martin’s recent meeting with Made in Britain’s CEO, John Pearce, and Advisor, George Middleton (Director of MAP). This is one in a series of meetings Made in Britain is holding with the UK’s lead trade officials around the world.

The message includes an invitation to companies to register their interest in attending the Department for Business and Trade’s (DBT) Indo-Pacific roadshow to the UK in June. For now this is best done by emailing: indopacificroadshow@fcdo.gov.uk
It also:
• Offers an overview of opportunities and support available from DBT in Asia Pacific, and;
• Refers to the Australia and New Zealand roadshow currently taking place in the UK.
More details for the Indo-Pacific roadshow, full agenda and registration will be issued by DBT in the coming weeks.
