Platinum Jubilee Mugs sell out in less than 24hrs

Chow Bella made a limited edition run of 70 bone china mugs to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. A waiting list was set up for customers, with 50 places on it, and this was full within 2 hours.  A reserve list was then set up which had over 40 customers on it.

All mugs were sold out within 24hrs of going live.

Each mug had a platinum lustre handpainted onto the rims, and a design by Claire Pearson-Cowell, the founder, director and designer-maker of Chow Bella.  Because Chow Bella's speciality is Ear Free Bowls for spaniels, the main image features a cocker spaniel and the wording, "Dog Save The Queen". Every mug is numbered and packaged in biodegradable packaging (as our all our products).

Was one of these sent to Her Majesty? Of course! The Queen recently acquired a cocker spaniel of her own, named Lissy, so we do hope that she'll be able to accept this spaniel-friendly gift.
