Polypipe Building Products is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of plastic piping systems. The company, which started out in Doncaster in 1980, now has three manufacturing sites and a toolmakers in Thorne and employs over 1100 people from Doncaster and the wider community in its building products division. Polypipe Building Products has now been granted membership to the Made in Britain organisation.
Polypipe Building Products told Made in Britain that it designs, develops and manufactures over 20,000 product lines which are stocked in plumbers and builders merchants nationally. The company offers a comprehensive range of products from plastic pipes and fittings to above ground drainage products, including pan connectors and waste pipes, to a wide variety of rainwater systems, below ground drainage systems and a number of underfloor heating solutions.
The company says it is proud of its experienced workforce that is able to provide solutions to challenges in construction projects at the same time as upholding the company’s values of quality, support, trust, competence and capability throughout its interactions with its customers and clients.
