Made in Britain members Roman Ltd celebrated their “best year ever” in the company of industry colleagues, celebrities and the media at the inaugural ek&bbusiness Awards & Review at The Brewery London on 1st December 2016. The gala ceremony, hosted by comedian Josh Widdicombe, brought together industry leaders to showcase 2016 highlights and share predictions for the year ahead. It was an excellent networking event with over 400 people attending and a great way to kick off Christmas. The Made in Britain Twitter forum #madeinbritainhour was helping promote the awards to our 10k followers, who contributed with questions, comments and photos.
David Osborne, managing director of Roman, was upbeat about their year-end results: “I could praise every part of the business. It’s all performed well.”
Roman are specialist manufacturers of high-end and bespoke shower installations, exporting to over 50 countries with expansion plans for the new year across all sales channels.
Made in Britain CEO John Pearce was also interviewed by the ek&bbusiness team about the broader outlook across all manufacturing sectors.
Made in Britain members Mereway Kitchens and Bushboard, both finalists in the Outstanding Surface of the Year category, were also present.
