SE Controls has launched an animation to highlight the importance of smoke control compliance. Designed to educate those within the construction industry, the video illustrates best practice to ensure that the installation of smoke control systems within buildings are compliant to EN12101-2.
Aimed at those responsible for ensuring life safety within buildings across all sectors, the animation covers the importance of compliance to ensure that tenants are protected, the fire service can do their job, and it also highlights the consequences of non-compliance.
Martin Oates, Director of Global Sales at SE Controls said: “Since the Grenfell Tower tragedy in 2017 there has been a much greater focus on the fire safety of high-rise buildings, primarily in the residential sector, and it has never been more important for individuals to take responsibility and put sufficient measures in place to ensure the safety of residents in all buildings.
