Supporting the UK rail manufacturing industry

Rail Forum has launched a new brochure which provides industry colleagues with a versatile resource to help them easily identify UK rail manufacturing capability. The brochure has been covered in an article in Rail Business Daily and includes the Made in Britain Trademark throughout.

Featuring 50 Rail Forum members, the 1st edition digital brochure contains case studies, a capability matrix, interactive mapping and directory elements that enable users to quickly find specialist UK manufacturing capability to support their rail activity.

John Pearce, CEO at Made in Britain (pictured), who spoke at this year's Rail Forum recently, said: “At this pivotal time for the British economy, it’s crucial that the right strategic decisions are made to improve the UK’s rail transport infrastructure and ecosystem for generations to come. Choosing British-made goods or services is the most effective way to meet vital social, environmental and economic value targets so that everyone wins and benefits cascade.

“We encourage the use of this new resource which will help decision-makers find relevant information on UK rail manufacturing capability to support their rail activities.”
