Tell the world about your royal connections

WE'RE now into our fourth week of Platinum Jubilee celebration stories and this week we'd like to hear all about your royal warrants. We'd also like to know if your factory has ever received a visit from Her Majesty the Queen.

This week, instead of asking you to email your stories to us, we'd like you to post a news item in the members' news section of the website.

Posting news stories improves your profile ranking and can move your business up the directory search results. Selected news stories are broadcast on our social media accounts, too.

Posting your own news is very easy. Login to the Members' Area and click on the Public Profile link on the right. The button My News Editor will get you started, then click Post New Article. The rest of the process is fairly self-explanatory. The only thing we ask is that you follow the on-screen guidance about image sizes. Publishing images of different sizes and shapes can result in them being distorted or out of alignment.

So give it a try and tell the readers of the Made in Britain website about these questions: Do you hold a royal warrant? If so, tell us the story in a news post. Also, have you ever been visited by the Queen? If so, please write about that. When was it? What did she say? What are your memories of the visit?

If you have missed our previous weeks' activity you can catch up here.

Week three: Tell us your 'family business' stories as part of our Platinum Jubilee celebrations

Week two: Who are your young leaders of the future?

Week one: Celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with Made in Britain

We're also working on a royal warrant badge that holders can display in the accreditations section, so watch out for an announcement about that in the near future.
