Manufacturing tailored, protected seat covers from facilities in Wrexham: Turtle Covers joins Made in Britain.
Established in 2004, Turtle Covers design and manufacture a range of tailored, protective seat covers for vehicles, particularly vans, pick-up trucks and 4x4s. The business was created by Marc Williams, whose mother was a seamstress and rider of classic motorcycles, which meant Marc grew up in a world of pins, scissors, and sewing machines, developing a skill in tailoring and an appreciation of motor vehicles.
During the pandemic, the company was approached by the The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to help provide scrubs for the medical team. Find out more about their work here.
A spokesperson from Turtle Covers, said: “We are proud of manufacturing in the UK, and being able to be a part of an organisation with like-minded individuals and companies is very exciting.”
Turtle Covers will use the Made in Britain mark on their website, social media and on paperwork sent to customers.
