At the end of the injection moulding process, the small pieces of plastic scrap (known as the sprue) are manually collected and put in a regrind bin, to be transferred to the granulator for recycling. We have now adopted new technology and methods that aim to increase the efficiency of this operation. The installation of the portable granulator into our machines allows the sprue to be automatically deposited straight in the hopper for granulation. Incorporating efficiency, eradicating waste & man power and enhancing our sustainability.
