At a dazzling awards ceremony held at the Guildhall in Hull on 7th December, TLJ’s very own Harvey Taylor was presented with the award for Business and Management Apprentice of the Year!
The annual awards are organised by Hull Training and Adult Education and are a celebration of learners achievements throughout the year. The event was made possible with sponsorship from several local businesses and TLJ were only too happy to step in and sponsor the trophies that were presented to the winners.
It was a fantastic evening showcasing some of Hull’s brightest young talent and to see Harvey up on stage as one of those recognised was a very proud moment.
Tony Martin, CEO, TLJ Access Control commented "“It goes without saying that the whole team at TLJ are extremely proud of Harvey and his achievements, he is a real asset to the company and we are delighted that his hard work and dedication have been recognised with this award.
Several of our employees started out as apprentices and they have all gone on to be valued members of our team, we enjoy helping them learn and develop their skills and seeing Harvey getting an award like this is the icing on the cake for us.”
Since completing his apprenticeship Harvey has progressed in his career and has recently taken on a new role within the business. After showing an aptitude for design he has moved into the marketing department where his creative talents are being utilised in full.
TLJ are currently looking to grow their team with two additional apprentices, an apprentice Engineer and an apprentice to join the Tech Support team, so if you would like to join an award winning team please get in touch!
