Wrights Plastics is ready for the election

Made In Britain members Wrights Plastics are getting election ready as they step up production of their polling booths.

Even with the date of the national poll to be confirmed, 2nd May 2024 sees local and mayoral elections so the West Bromwich-based acrylic fabrication company is expecting demand from local councils and Assemblies in London and Wales.

Launched in 2021, the booths were designed to meet public concerns ahead of the first local elections after the initial Covid19 lockdown. Made from flat PVC panels they were designed to be easy to sanitise.

But other features have meant the voting booth has many other benefits. Not only is it a low cost alternative for cash-strapped authorities, the two panels can be stored flat for easy of storage and their lightweight 10mm PVC construction make the booth easy to ship, assemble and disassemble at the end of another successful day's voting.

And the 50yr old plastic fabricator is ready and waiting for Rishi to name the day.
