Founded in 1985 by Malcolm and Jennifer Baker, Thorndale Furnishers quickly expanded and is today run by eldest daughter Louise. Similarly, after 20 years, Wrought Iron and Brass Bed Co. Founder Amanda Oldfield has taken a step back, delving into the world of British wool as a shepherd whilst allowing sons Harry and Jack to head up production and marketing.
