A Yorkshire tailoring factory showroom opens its doors

A part of Yorkshire's rich history and a testament to its manufacturing heritage is Carl Stuart Tailors.  This business has operated from Ossett, West Yorkshire since 1929 and while for the past many decades, the suits were made and sold in separate places within Yorkshire, the two have now finally been brought together.  The doors are officially open on a new shop and showroom under the very same roof as where the garments are created by hand, from scratch.

Carl Stuart Tailors takes pride in having one of the last tailoring workshops outside of London that builds Made to Measure and Bespoke suits and shirts from start to finish by a tight-knit, highly skilled team.  One of the driving factors in the decision to move the showroom and shop into the factory was that many clients asked if they could actually see where their tailored clothes were being made. Now it's possible to not only go on a tour of the workshop, but to meet some of the team members who cut, sew and press the cloth into the final garment.
