Product Description

We manufacture a comprehensive range of compact, self-contained air compressors suitable for dry, pre-action, alternate or tail-end sprinkler systems. All of our compressors are designed to comply with LPC, EN12845 and PED guidelines and are fully set and tested prior to despatch.

The compressor comprises an air-cooled reciprocating air compressor pump unit which is driven directly by a single-phase 230v/1.5kw electric motor. The compressor is mounted upon a buffered base plate, and this receiver model includes a 24L CE-marked air receiver, underhanging the main frame for easy installation. Floor- and
riser-mounting kits are available as an option.

The compressor is specifically designed and built to help you meet as many LPCB guidelines as possible; the only additional requirement for an FM system is an air receiver (see other listing). Our design includes:
• A quality Danfoss pressure switch to enable automatic “stop/ start” control (standard settings below
– if required cut-out is below 2.5bar, or differential below 0.9bar then a ‘low pressure’ model is required).
• Unloading valve and non-return valve to release pressure once the compressor stops.
• Safety relief valve and thermal overload for pressure and electrical protection.
• On-delay timer to prevent early cut-in in case of sprinkler activation (excluded on request).
• 63mm glycerine filled pressure gauge.
• 24 litre SEP-designed air receiver with manual drain tap (auto-valve available on request).
