Product Description

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Arthro-Eze splint is a simple elegant design. If you suffer from arthritis or have experienced a minor finger injury or condition, the Arthro-Eze splint product can be worn in different ways on your fingers to help treat a variety of common conditions; like Finger Arthritis, Mallet finger, controlling Swan Neck, Boutonniere deformity, Hypermobility, Trigger Finger and protecting fractures or jammed fingers.

Finger Arthritis is a disease that causes joint pain, stiffness, and swelling. The pain may be worse in the morning, be warm to the touch and you may have trouble moving your joints.

Mallet Finger is when the end joint of your finger closest to your fingernail, bends but will not straighten by itself. You can push your finger into a straight position, but it will not stay straight without support.

Finger Hypermobility (EDS) is a rare genetic disorder of connective tissue that causes unusually flexible joints, very elastic skin, and fragile tissues. Symptoms of Hypermobile EDS include loose, unstable joints that move well beyond the normal range and have long-term joint pain.

Crooked Finger describes the way your finger is bent or looks – the finger bends away from the rest of your fingers and is no longer straight. The tendons and ligaments that usually straighten the finger joint bend it away instead.

Finger Swan Neck deformity is a finger condition characterised by the middle knuckle bending backwards beyond the normal range (hyperextending) and the fingertip bending down towards the palm (flexing).

Finger Boutonniere deformity describes the way your finger is bent – the middle joint bends down and will not straighten while the fingertip bends back at the end joint. The tendons and ligaments that usually straighten the middle finger joint bend it down instead.

KEY FEATURES & SPLINT SIZING

Arthro-Eze splints can help your finger recover, aid healing, and reduce pain caused by swelling by immobilising and supporting the finger. Arthro-Eze splints also improve finger stability and alignment for better hand function and are light, comfortable, they are also hardly noticeable to the wearer. Made from biocompatible material so they will not irritate your skin, no messy tape or straps are required so they can be worn in water without removing the splints. They may also aid in preventing the progression of deformity and multiple splints can be worn without limiting hand function.

They are currently available in Peach, Clear, Amber Clear variants in 32 different sizes to ensure a comfortable fit and our new Amber clear splint blends in with any skin tone. Please visit our shop via the home button at the top of the page to see all variants and buying options.

When determining splint size we recommend you follow our step by step guide detailed in our website using a strip of paper (SIZING INSTRUCTIONS).
