Product Description

Cornerstone Performance Roofline Medium is a dry-ready mixed natural hydraulic lime mortar for roofing applications. It is available in the colour tan or grey. Custom colours are available upon request.

Engineered with precision, using 100% pure natural hydraulic lime, natural sands, and additives to create high-performance mortar for building and pointing roofline applications. This roofline mortar is explicitly designed for an improved performance on sloped surfaces, maintaining shape and consistency to reduce slump and sag, while an extended working and finishing time makes for a no-fuss application. Available as standard with Saint-Astier® NHL5. Other binders and mix ratios are available upon request.

Well-suited for angled or pitched roofs, with additional workability even when used stiff or projects requiring a natural buff or grey mortar to match the roofline.

  • Maintains its shape on angled surfaces
  • Ensures a durable and resilient bond
  • Reduced risk of slump or slag
  • Increased water retention for an improved cure
  • Minimised likelihood of shrinkage cracking
  • Extended working and finishing time

Area of use

Suitable for external use, where the binder strength is appropriate for the host background or surface.

Well-suited for roofline applications, including on ridges, verges, hips, and pointing gables. Cornerstone Roofline Medium prefers masonry with a degree of suction, so units like glazed tiles may be more challenging to work with. Get in touch for more information on these types of applications. Appropriate for various project types, including conservation, renovation, or sustainable construction.

A 25kg bag yields approximately 15 litres of lime mortar. Coverage cannot be estimated accurately due to variations in bed depth and slate width. On-site trials are advised for the best yield indication for your specific project.

As natural products, our kiln-dried sands may exhibit variations in colour, texture, and shape. While these variations are minimal, when colour consistency is crucial, we strongly advise each elevation is completed using material from the same batch.

Supplied in 25kg polythene-lined and colour and batch-code paper bags for easy identification on-site and palletised for ease of transport, storage, and handling. FIBC tonne bags are also available.
