Cornerstone Promix Fine Topcoat is a dry ready mixed render and plaster designed for internal and external finish render coats within an appropriate render system. Available in the colour light brown, which provides a lightly textured finish when floated with a plastic or wooden float or sponge, and a smooth finish with minimal texture when a trowel finish is applied.

Engineered with precision utilising 100% pure natural hydraulic lime, natural sands, and conservation-appropriate additives to create a high-performance render and plaster that withstands high-traffic areas or outdoor elements. Enhanced plasticity supports a decreased likelihood of slump and improved adhesion. Further, a longer open time makes this render straightforward to apply, level, and finish. Available as standard with Saint-Astier® NHL2. Other binders are available upon request.

Promix Fine Topcoat can be used as a finer finish coat over Promix Coarse Basecoat, or as the second pass of a two-coat application onto suitable render carrier boards with mesh in the basecoat.

A 25kg bag yields approximately 15 litres of lime render or plaster and covers roughly 5m² at a 3mm thickness. Consumption rates will change based on how even the background is and suction. On-site trials are advised for the best yield indication for your specific project.

As natural products, our kiln-dried sands may exhibit variations in colour, texture, and shape. While these variations are minimal, when colour consistency is crucial, we strongly advise each elevation is completed using material from the same batch.

Supplied in 25kg polythene-lined and colour and batch-code paper bags for easy identification on-site and palletised for ease of transport, storage, and handling. FIBC tonne bags are also available.
