The King's Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen's Awards for Enterprise, is an awards programme for British businesses and other organisations who excel at international trade, innovation, sustainable development or promoting opportunity. They are the highest official UK awards for British businesses.
We are keen to help celebrate the successes of our members and we encourage members to apply for the King’s Awards for Enterprise before the 12th September deadline, for outstanding achievement by UK businesses in the categories of:
• innovation
• international trade
• sustainable development
• promoting opportunity through social mobility

How you apply
The King’s Awards for Enterprise are free to enter, and you can apply for multiple categories. You can now apply for the 2024 Awards until 1 pm on 12 September 2023 by visiting https://www.gov.uk/kings-awards-for-enterprise/how-to-apply
What happens if your company gets an Award
If you get an Award your company will be:
• invited to a Royal reception
• presented with the Award at your company by one of The King’s representatives, a Lord-Lieutenant
• able to fly The King’s Awards flag at your main office, and use the emblem on your marketing materials (for example, on your packaging, advertisements, stationery and website)
• given a Grant of Appointment (an official certificate) and a commemorative crystal trophy
The Awards are valid for five years.
Companies that got an Award have reported benefiting from:
• worldwide recognition
• increased commercial value
• greater press coverage
• a boost to staff morale

6 May 2024 | Successful organisations officially announced in the London Gazette |
Summer 2024 | Royal reception held for Award recipients |
