Made in Britain member British Ceramic Tile will be creating an exhibition with a difference at Clerkenwell Design Week – CDW – from 22nd-24th May, celebrating the best of UK design and manufacture in association with the team from Made in Britain.
One of the UK’s most prominent manufacturers to design and make products here in Britain, the company is incredibly proud of its longstanding heritage and its in-house design credentials, and will be marking the occasion through a range of activities that reflect the best of British.
During three days packed full of guest talks and partner collaborations with fellow Made in Britain members, the company has secured other like-minded, big-name brands from across the kitchen, bathroom and interior design industries to come along and showcase their products and services to visitors, offering a true vision of exceptional British design. The Made in Britain partners include March & May, Roman and The Whitebirk Sink Company. This is a great example of our members collaborating together to showcase British-made products.
British Ceramic Tile will also be using CDW as an opportunity to showcase some of the latest products to arrive in the specification market. These include Rock, a porcelain tile influenced by natural stone, available in a polished, hammered or matt finish and Seagrass, a ceramic tile created using a combination of the latest technologies in inkjet and rotocolour printing.

Central Saint Martins British Design Collaboration

The company has been working with the students of Central Saint Martins on an exciting competition to design a tile that emulates the best of Britain. Today the winner will be unveiled.
