THREE new members to the building and construction sector top the list of new members to Made in Britain in the week ending 22 July 2022.
The construction sector manufacturers are Superglass Insulation Ltd which makes glass mineral wool insulation in Stirling, Scotland; Chesterfelt Ltd manufactures roofing membranes in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. Urban Skies Limited of Flitton produces bespoke architectural metalworks for the residential market.
Gold Bank joins the clothing and apparel sector. It manufactures its own gold and silver bars in-house. It is also involved with the design and build of the technical application to support the authentication of these bars, called Finescan technology.
The Biltong Factory manufactures biltong, a dried meat product. All the curing and drying is done in the UK and the meat origin is 80 per cent. The Biltong Factory joins our food and beverage sector.
The engineering sector is bolstered this week by Philford Design Engineers Ltd. Philford is a specialist in material handling, conveying and industrial equipment.
