Detectamet are delighted to reach an important milestone as they celebrate 20 years of business. Founded in 2003, they have evolved from an independent start-up organisation to a multi-national manufacturer & supplier of food-safe stationery, PPE, tools & equipment. Supported by their 5 sites, Detectamet supply innovative metal & X-ray detectable products to thousands of food & beverage manufacturers around the world.
Founder and CEO Sean Smith is proud of the organisation’s milestone, adding “It’s amazing to see how far this business has come in 20 years! When I started this business in Pocklington in 2003, I would have never imagined where we are today, supplying brands loved by millions with our metal detectable products.
We’d like to say a big thank you to all customers, colleagues & associates for your loyalty and support over the last 20 years. This milestone is testament to our hard-working team, and hints at the potential that this organisation has to invest, grow and expand further.”
In celebration of this milestone, Detectamet are planning a company-wide party at each of its 5 locations at the end of August. The celebrations will provide an opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of its employees & partners.
