DLR Elastomer Engineering - toll manufacturers of rubber products

DLR Elastomer Engineering have been manufacturing rubber products for over 130 years.

In this time, we have acquired a vast knowledge regarding processing of elastomers plus we have invested in an unrivalled suite of plant and machinery tailored to produce high quality rubber products.

With a whole department dedicated to manufacturing rubber sheet products, we have possibly the widest rubber calendar in the UK .  Not only that, our team of experts bring an decades of experience giving us the flexibility to take on many projects that other can't.  Rubber hoses, cables, membranes, gaskets often need a custom rubber sheet that is completely cured or still in it's uncured state (to be further processed).  DLR Elastomer Engineering offers a Toll Manufacturing service, taking raw compound and converting it into sheet.

Add to that over 30 moulding presses, we can produce parts over 1 tonne in weight and up to 3.5m in length in a vast range of rubber materials.  Again, we have the ability to go bigger than many, if not all rubber moulders in the UK.  In fact, we are trusted by other rubber moulders to support them, with their proprietary materials when they can't don't have the capability in-house.  Working with free issued materials, DLR Elastomer Engineering converts raw compound into finished, moulded products for a number of industries including industrial & chemical processing, oil & gas, food &pharmaceutical aerospace and defence.

Whether you're over-capacity and struggling to get orders out of the door or you've developed a new product that you want to get to market quickly or you simply don't have the size of plant needed to deal with your customers' demands.  DLR Elastomer Engineering offers a flexible approach to Toll Manufacturing with some of the best know-how and kit in the rubber business.
