Get ready for International Trade Week

15-19 November 2021

THE Department for International Trade (DIT) has announced the first International Trade Week. The week will include business and sector-led activities, showcasing events and workshops available to businesses of all sizes, all sectors and across the UK hosted by expert trade advisors, parliamentarians and ministers.

Businesses across the country, particularly those considering exporting for the first time, are being encouraged to join the week-long event to get the inspiration and advice they need. If you would like to use the week as an opportunity to share your company’s export success and/or ambition via social media, please use #MadeInBritain and #TradeWeek

The event will take place from 15–19 November across the UK, aiming to encourage UK businesses to export and sell to the world, and showcase the long-term support that is available to help them do so. Figures show that businesses that export are more productive and pay their staff more.  While the proportion of Made in Britain companies that export is significantly higher than the national average, only one in ten British businesses currently sell overseas.

Businesses can sign up here for virtual and physical events in their local area.
