Home Secretary Priti Patel who is also the MP for Witham visited Masterframe Windows on Friday 04th September 2020.
Carol Slade, managing director for Masterframe said “Being very interested in the welfare of local businesses, over the years Priti Patel has visited Masterframe several times. We have also written to her on occasions when we believed we needed to express our views to government, for example on Covid-19 testing and more recently on the Green Homes Grant Scheme.”
Carol continues, “It was a pleasure to welcome Priti again, this time as Home Secretary and to discuss how Masterframe as a small business had navigated through the Covid-19 pandemic adopting new measures for the safety of our employees and customers, whilst returning to full manufacturing capacity. At our meeting I commented on how the Furlough Scheme was instrumental in our survival, along with our determination to continue our marketing on digital platforms, building virtual showrooms for our master installers whilst physical showroom visits were not possible for the retail customer. I explained that even though we were extremely busy, we were going to increase our capacity to ensure that our customers did not miss any opportunities to take advantage of the current renewed interest in sash window replacement and the sash window style in general.”
