The British Band Instrument Company (BBICO) under their Edgware brand and Warwick Music Group (WMG) have collaborated on a new cleaning and care kit for the award-winning line of musical instruments - pInstruments. Suitable for all pBuzz, pBugle, pCornet, pTrumpet, pBone, pBone mini and pTrumpet hyTech, the pInstrument Cleaning & Care Kit includes everything needed to keep pInstruments safe and clean. Both organisations are leading the music industry with their approach to sustainability - fully compostable, biodegradable and recyclable packaging from BBICO, and carbon-neutral plastic instruments from WMG. They share the common goal of reducing the environmental impact created by the music products industry.
“We’re very proud to be working in association with Warwick Music Group on accessories for their pInstrument range of products. Their ambitions towards carbon neutrality have been inspiration for our commitment to the environment”, says Alun Hughes, Managing Director of BBICO. “We share a common purpose with the Made in Britain campaign. It proves that the products are made in Britain, are of high quality, represent value for money, and that we adhere to the same highest business standards”.

“I was very impressed by BBICO’s sustainable cleaning products which launched at the NAMM Show in January 2020. All pInstruments are now carbon neutral, so it was important to us that our cleaning kits were designed and packaged in the UK, free of synthetics, toxins & petroleums, and sold in biodegradable, compostable & recyclable packaging” says Steven Greenall, CEO at WMG. “We feel that this kit is a fantastic addition to our range of instruments, which are made from a tough and durable ABS plastic, as well as having embedded anti-microbial technology which kills germs automatically”.
The new pInstrument Cleaning and Care Kit contains the following products:
· Edgware BY BBICO Tuning Slide Grease
· Edgware BY BBICO Mouthpiece Brush
· Edgware BY BBICO Care Cloth
· Edgware BY BBICO Sanitiser Spray
The kit is available from all good pInstrument retailers in the UK, and on the pBone online store (RRP £20). The full line of additional cleaning products for musical instruments are available from Edgware retailers, and on the Edgware website.
